ABOUT THE PRACTICE
I use PET plastic bottles alongside natural materials collected from streets, beaches and woods, as well as traditional objects from local markets. By using plastic waste, I aim to uncover beauty and
poetry within this virtually indestructible material with such a short shelf life.
While my work is inherently environmental, it also engages with broader themes like transformation
and social inequality—issues arising from the irresponsible exploitation of natural resources and the
displacement of traditional craftsmanship by mass-produced plastic items. My pieces are a self-
reflection on our collective responsibility towards nature and each other.
